As we near the close of 2007,
I am pleased to see the increasing progress we are making as a family of churches in a number of areas. Particularly visible is our renewed dedication to expand into new localities this year.

Hope Melbourne has established another centre at Darebin under the leadership of Eric Fan in September. I was privileged to be there at the opening service and was blessed with the energy and the faith of all those involved.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the Frankston centre's first anniversary and observe the progress that has been made there. Melbourne is on a fast track to pioneer more centres next year. Let us pray for the continual raising of key leaders to undergird these plans.

Hope Newcastle also took big steps of faith to pioneer a centre in Ourimbah under the leadership of Danny Whitbread.

Hope Adelaide has recently commenced a new centre called City Centre, under the leadership of Eddy Fong.

Hope Sydney has also established another service at Paddington and this service will provide opportunities for outreach and training of the leadership. Let us continue to uphold all these new work, believing God for fruitfulness.

The stirring of the Holy Spirit is obvious amongst our churches, prodding us to expand our wings with faith to reach out to new localities and new communities. This is complemented by the increasing maturity of our leadership at various levels.

I believe that as we continue to avail ourselves to the work of the Holy Spirit, God will build into us the faith, the strength and the drive to continue to expand the Kingdom of God at a higher level.

I am looking forward to an exciting year in 2008.

May the Lord bless all of you in this Christmas season with seasons of refreshing and renewing in the Lord. May you take this time to reflect on the blessings of the Lord in the past year as well.
